90 Days of Nora.....

My favorite notes from Nora's first three months in the toddler room...

Nora loved her turkey sandwich at lunch - she ate a ton!
Nora wasn't so sure about washing her hands, but once she saw the food she was very happy.
Nora was the only baby who ate two quesadillas at lunch.
We painted with chopsticks today. She LOVED it and she was MAD when we were all done!
Nora loves rolling around on the tumble mats.
Nora loved running under the parachute as it fell on her head.
Today we did taste testing of sour, bitter, sweet and salty foods. Nora threw everything on the floor and kept saying "cookie."
Nora loved her first plate at lunch (ham, potatoes and peas), but she dumped the second plate on the floor.
Nora took a really good nap. When she woke up she popped up in her crib and yelled "Hi!"
Nora loves to try and feed kids in the kitchen center.
Today Nora traced her foot inside a dinosaur foot.
Nora ate very fast all day today.
She loved the spaghetti at lunch today. She ate three helpings.
Today we made sensory bags out of dirt, gel, lotion, glue, play-doh and bird seed. Her favorite was the lotion one.

Smart parents

Nora's toys seem to have taken over. Tonight we took the toys from the office and the living room and divided them into five paper grocery bags (yes, five...) Three of the bags went into a closet and one bag went to each respected "toy" space. Wow, not only can she actually play with all the stuff that is out, when we switch bags she thinks she is getting all new toys again! Relief!

Caught up!

I feel kind of caught up! I know I was doing a horrible job with pictures and for everyone out of town I almost feel selfish for sitting on the pictures of this beautiful baby for so long ; ) Well, I'm back now. I didn't get into a lot of detail or stories, just stuck with what everyone wants to see.... PICTURES OF NORA!!!

Best of June 2010

Yes, before the comments come in...that IS spinach on her tray. Did she eat it? Nah, but she tasted it. We are LOVING our CSA this year that we split with the Fluhrs. We think Nora is the only baby in town that eats asparagus, green peppers, broccoli, zucchini, kohlrabi, cabbage, etc., etc., etc....... Okay, the only baby besides Braylen Fluhr! Anyway, the veggies are amazing and each Wednesday feels like Christmas when we pick up the box. More to come on this later on...

I won't even TRY to describe the animal noises I was making to get Nora to laugh this day. Her smile her makes my heart want to explode.

Trip to Evanston

Girls definitely outnumbered the boys on this trip! Nora loved seeing her cousins, aunts and uncle!

One Month! (Can you believe it!?!?)

I read about this in a magazine, a woman took pictures of her kids each month with wooden blocks saying how many months old they were. I think it will be fun at 12 months to see the growth. Here are Nora's best. I like the second picture; she is holding up one finger to say one month old - tee hee!
